Joe Sinodis is a Managing Partner of Nuclear Due Diligence Associates, where he leads technical due diligence efforts for clients pursuing investments in nuclear power. With over 25 years of engineering experience, including more than 15 years as a co-founder of an engineering firm providing nuclear consulting, he brings deep industry expertise to help investors assess the risks, feasibility, and regulatory pathways of advanced reactor designs and nuclear energy projects.
Joe has managed and conducted evaluations across key technical areas, including reactor safety, containment performance, thermal-hydraulic analysis, and source term and radiological impact assessment. His work has supported regulatory compliance, licensing support, and risk assessment for legacy nuclear facilities as well as SMR and advanced reactor design.
His broad experience in nuclear engineering, combined with a strategic understanding of industry challenges and opportunities, enables him to bridge the gap between complex technical evaluations and financial decision-making.
Joe is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
